Hand Held Films was founded in 1987 as a service oriented camera rental boutique specializing in the latest motion picture equipment. Since then, our philosophy has been to provide customer oriented service and meticulously maintained equipment to our clientele. We carry the finest gear manufactured by the most respected names in the industry.

Our professional and thorough staff has allowed HandHeld to enjoy tremendous success over the years. We cater to productions both large and small. Large productions appreciate our personal level of attention while smaller productions like the fact that we can provide them first-rate gear at rates they can afford. Over the years we have provided cameras to numerous independent features, television series, music videos, and commercials.

HandHeld Films has expanded to include an impressive collection of digital equipment as well as a full grip and lighting department. We offer digital high definition cameras, lenses and accessories, along side our well-established inventory of film equipment. Our grip and lighting department is well equipped and constantly expanding. We offer HMI, tungsten, and Kinoflo lighting, with distro, grip, generators, and Fisher dollies to boot.
